The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

Recently I just finished The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho ( http://www.paulocoelho.com/). Heard of his famous name long ago and it was hitherto that I decided to read one of his master pieces. It was quite philosophical as expected, and I'm surprised it did not bore me at all. In fact, I did enjoy reading. I'm not sure why Julia Roberts described his work as music, and that it was written beautifully. I found that he is not really a fantastic writer but still, the book is worth buying because of its content. However, I found the ending quite because I feel that it is simply ridiculous! Maybe I expected too much since I already knew in the first place that it's fictional.
Here's some quotes that I really liked. This is my favourite:
" When someone sees the same people everyday, as had happened with him at the seminary , they wind up becoming a part of the other person's life. And then they want the person to change. If one isn't what others want to be, the other become angry. Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none know about his or her own."
